Another county resident is undergoing testing

One person in Solano County has tested positive for the coronavirus and another is undergoing testing by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, county public health officials said Friday.The patient who tested positive was a passenger on the Diamond Princess cruise ship and evacuated to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, the Solano County Health and Social Services Department said.The second county resident tested positive by Japanese officials and the case “is pending confirmation from CDC,” health officials said.“Both individuals were transferred from federal to local authority and will remain in mandatory home-isolation until cleared by Solano Public Health officials,” the county said in a statement. “Solano Public Health is monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as the situation evolves.”No other details were released.Stay with KCRA 3 for the latest.
