Dua Lipa has released the first track off her forthcoming remix album: “Levitating [The Blessed Madonna Remix],” featuring none other than the Queen of Pop and Elliott. The fan-favorite Future Nostalgia song was reimagined by DJ and producer Marea Stamper, a.k.a. The Blessed Madonna. Madge lends her vocals to the club-ready remix’s second verse, and Missy spits some rhymes in a saucy third verse. (Would it surprise anyone to learn that Dua and Madonna are both Leos? No? Okay.)
Let us not forget the last time Madonna and Missy collabed: their “Into the Hollywood Grove” commercial for GAP, which aired in 2003.
Dua first teased her star-studded remix compilation on August 4, driving her straight and LGBTQ fans alike absolutely wild. The original album was released on March 27, 2020, a.k.a. 10 years ago in quarantine time; Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album With The Blessed Madonna drops next Friday, August 21.

Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson are two more confirmed collaborators, and Dua has promised “ALL FUTURE NOSTALGIA TRACKS N THEN SUM REMIXED BY UR FAVES.” My body is
not ready. It’s a shame we can’t get physical on a dancefloor anytime soon.
Listen to the “Levitating (feat. Madonna and Missy Elliott) [The Blessed Madonna Remix]” below, and keep an eye out for the music video, which drops tomorrow (Friday, August 14) at 8am ET. If the first teaser is any indication, it’s going to be lit.
