The Fab Five are about to become the Fab Six.
Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, will be joining the Queer Eye guys—Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, and Antoni Porowski—for a Biden campaign grassroots fundraiser this Tuesday, September 1.
In a teaser video for the event, the queer quintet asks viewers if they care about issues affecting Americans today, including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the environment, trans lives, Black lives, and making life better for teachers.
This is not the first time Dr. Biden has kikied with members of the LGBTQ community. She swung by an Iowa gay bar earlier this year on the campaign trail, and she recently co-hosted an Out For Biden event with Chasten Buttigieg.
The Queer Eye grassroots fundraiser will take place at 12:15pm ET on Tuesday, September 1. According to a Biden campaign spokesperson, the Bidens’ daughter Ashley and several of their grandchildren are expected to participate.
In addition to hanging with the former Second Lady, the Fab Five have a busy month ahead. Queer Eye is nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards, including a first-ever nomination for Best Reality Host.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was “just the cutest thing ever.”
