Gentlemen, keep those engines running because RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars are coming back for another lap.
After this year’s sickening RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 and All Stars Season 5, VH1 has announced that the Emmy-winning Drag Race has officially been renewed for a lucky 13th season that is sure to leave no wig un-snatched. All Stars will also be back back back back again for a sixth season. Untucked is returning for another round of backstage drama too.
“Drag queens have been on the frontlines of many challenging times in our history,” said RuPaul. “RuPaul’s Drag Race 13, All Stars 6 and new seasons of Untucked will offer more opportunities for our queens to rise to the occasion and spread the love.”
No word yet on when the new seasons will sashay onto our screens, but needless to say we are ready. Is it too early to start guessing who will be among the queens to sashay into the workroom next season?
If you need more Drag Race in your life until Season 13 rolls around, you won’t have to wait long. The new docuseries, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue, premieres this Friday, August 21 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1.
The six-episode reality series will follow six Drag Race legends—Season 11 winner Yvie Oddly and iconic queens Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry, Kameron Michaels, Naomi Smalls, and Vanessa “Vanjie” Mateo—as they prepare to launch the RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Vegas residency, which debuted earlier this year.
Drag Race fans are staying fed!
I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was “just the cutest thing ever.”
